Jeff Wallace

Bass.

Jeff Wallace has been playing bass for 40 years. Weaned on The Cream, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and jazz records courtesy of his piano-playing father, he quickly started playing in bands with musicians almost twice his age and garnered much respect in and around the Shreveport, Louisiana area.

After decades of laying down the low end, Jeff joined up with Rocket Girl in early 2006. Jeff's influences include Paul McCartney, Jack Bruce, and John Entwistle. Fashionably understated in a classic "McCartney-era" McCartney kind of way, his presence and authority in the low registers of Rocket Girl's sound is only noticeable when he drops out of the mix to re-tie his Chuck Taylors or sip on a savory hefeweizen brew.

Jeff also plays with local Dallas bands Too Much Sausage and Monte Carlo.

Jeff plays Sadowsky, Valenti, and Rickenbacker basses, Thunderfunk amps, and Schroeder bass cabinets.
